Golden Hills Software

Software for the person who didn't sign up to be the expert.

Golden Hills Software is a small company in Colorado Springs. We make software for people handed a job they've never done before, like running a survey or hosting a watch party. Help is built in, so you don't have to become an expert first. Through MyImpact, our agency, we also help people and organizations clarify what they do, how they do it, and how to do it better.

What we make

Two products today, plus the survey software where it all started.

Candor Surveys

Nobody plans to become the survey person.

Candor is survey software for people who don't do this every day. It walks you from the first question to the final report and checks your work before anyone else sees it.

  • A guided builder with tips for writing clear questions
  • A pilot run with up to 10 trusted people before you go live
  • Checks for common mistakes before you publish
  • Share by email, text, QR code, or on your website
  • Charts and exportable reports as answers come in

Your first survey is free, and every price is published upfront. When you write in, a person writes back.

Sports Party Bingo

Not everyone at your watch party came for the game.

A bingo game for football, basketball, baseball, and soccer watch parties. Squares come from the game, the broadcast, and the room itself, so the friend who doesn't follow the sport has a reason to look up.

  • The host runs it from an iPhone or iPad app, $4.99 once
  • Guests play free in any phone browser, iPhone or Android, with nothing to install
  • The app catches every Bingo and lets late arrivals join in

SurveyGold, where it started

SurveyGold, first built in 1998, made surveys quick and easy for organizations on the web, on paper, and in person. TopTenREVIEWS gave it Bronze and Excellence awards in 2012 and a Best Intuitive Design award for 2014.

SurveyGold's online response processing ends January 1, 2027. The desktop app and your historical data stay available. For new online surveys, SurveyGold customers can move to Candor.
